What is the difference between this and grief counseling?
Counseling is an excellent option for processing. Kristin provides clear, practical steps and expert support, helping families navigate grief, ease overwhelming emotions, and regain a sense of stability from the very first session.
My person is still living. Can Kristin help?
Yes! Kristin can guide you in the best ways to support yourself and your family with anticipated loss.
My person died years ago. Can Kristin help?
Yes! This was actually the reason Good Grieve was founded - to help us share our loved ones with the next generation.
How will my faith beliefs be incorporated, and what if I don’t have them?
When faith beliefs are important to you, they are important to Kristin, too. Faith and spiritual beliefs can be incorporated throughout this process in the ways that you wish.
Are these services in-person or virtual?
Kristin is based in Nashville, so if you are in the area, in-person is encouraged. Kristin also offers these services virtually for parents and families in other regions.
For in-person services, do we go to an office location?
Kristin will come to you, or meet at a comfortable location for you.
How do you accept payment?
Payment can be made via Venmo and Zelle, details of which will be shared upon booking.

Is there an ideal age my children should be?
No! We can all grieve and live better at any age.
Does the death have to be of a family member?
No! The death can be anyone or any animal that is significant in your child’s life (e.g. classmate, pet, neighbor, bonus family).
How involved will my children be in these sessions?
Child involvement will be co-designed with you and explained in the first session.
Who should attend these sessions?
You can decide if the sessions will be for close family members, or can include your extended network, such as nannies, friends, or in-laws.
How does scheduling work?
Your session schedule will be custom designed to fit your family’s needs.
What can I expect after these sessions?
Kristen’s sessions will provide lifelong skills that help you heal in the short term while equipping you and your children with healthy coping mechanisms for a lifetime. By modeling resilience and emotional strength, you create a foundation that not only meets your family's immediate needs but also empowers your children with skills they will carry, and pass on, for generations.
